Requirements

Before configuring the WorkPress service marketplace, make sure your hosting environment meets the following requirements.

These settings are recommended for smooth operation, especially when uploading service images, importing content, and processing marketplace data.

Recommended PHP Settings

Configure the following PHP values on your server:

  • PHP Version: 8.0 or higher
  • PHP ZIP extension must be installed
  • upload_max_filesize 150M
  • post_max_size 248M
  • max_execution_time 2700
  • memory_limit 768M
  • max_input_vars 4000
  • max_input_time 2400

Tip: You can check PHP configuration settings by installing WordPress phpinfo() extension in WordPress. You can also contact your hosting provider if you don’t know much more about it.

Why These Settings Matter

These server settings help WorkPress handle larger uploads, demo imports, service content, and other marketplace operations without unnecessary PHP resource or timeout errors.

If your server does not meet these requirements, you may experience issues such as:

  • Failed file uploads
  • Demo import failures
  • PHP timeout errors
  • Memory limit errors
  • Incomplete requests
  • Problems saving large amounts of form data

Check Your Server Configuration

You can check your current PHP configuration through your hosting control panel or server configuration.

If you cannot change these values yourself, contact your hosting provider and provide them with the recommended settings above.

Once your server meets the requirements, continue with the Installation guide.
